India is passing through an economic and social transformation for which the country has to transit from an agriculture based economy to a product and services based economy which would result into knowledge based economy. India is bestowed with unique network of KVKs, offering technological backstopping for enhancing the production of agricultural crops and other enterprises. On the other hand KVKs are getting, regular feedback from various stakeholders on emerging needs and expected technological and methodological interventions for higher production.

Therefore the role KVK in this direction is very crucial. I firmly believe that KrishiVigyan Kendra, Kalyan, Purulia, W.B. is engaged to play key role in promoting the secondary agriculture to achieve accelerated and inclusive growth of the nation.
